Job Purpose / Objective
The Senior Production Operator shall be a key role in operating the production facilities in the block. including oil production, gas injection, water injectors, well gathering station, separators, oil and water treating facilities, oil and gas measurement, service of well heads, and operation of gas compressor and pumps operation and other related activities.
REPORTING:
The Senior Production Operator reports directly to the production supervisor
LOCATION:
Field position – rotational basis.
Qualifications:
College Diploma and relevant industrial experience in the oil field
Role and Responsibilities:
Comply with company and government Safety, Environment and health rules and regulation.
Key team member in operating the oil gathering station, the early production facilities (EPF) well sites, flow line, well services activities and gas lifting system in block 7
Ensure accurate measurement of the oil, gas and water
Ensures an adequate process exists and is utilized for daily work planning with the maintenance team and other stakeholders
Work with mechanical and instrumentation departments to monitor and operate various types of pumps, positive displacement of pumps, centrifugal pumps including single and multi-stages pumps load/unload, and determine pump performance in various applications. In addition, he shall have a basic knowledge on compression equipment such as gas compressors and instrument air compressor
Ensure all the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports required by the company and the local authorities are issued accurately and on time
Ensures department implementation and compliance with all global policies, and local regulations
Ensure all the activates are carried on in safe manners and in full compliance with HSE standards and polices
Provide surveillance for artificial lift systems including gas lift, electrical submersible pumping, free flowing wells, water and gas injection wells.
Apply first line maintenance to the equipment on station or field.
Participate in ""what ifs"" and ""HAZOP"" reviews.
Optimization of the production
المهارات المطلوبة
Essential Experience & Skills:
Must be proficient in the English and Arabic languages
Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience
Preferred experience in completion or workover in additional to production.
Formal operational and safety training including: First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, Fire Extinguisher and Defensive Driving.
Proven and demonstrated commitment to HSE expectations and requirements
Experience in field data and electronic flow measurement systems
