Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a Head of Business Support Department to manage key strategic areas that are essential for the efficient functioning of our operations. This newly created role will directly support the CEO and the executive team in planning, data management, and governance while serving as a crucial focal point between internal teams and external committees. The successful candidate will lead a department with three core responsibilities: Role 1: Planning Create and manage the drilling and work-over sequence. Collaborate with the subsurface team for production and economics input, integrating these into the operational plan. Coordinate with surface and facilities teams to ensure operational readiness and alignment with mid- to long-term goals. Partner with the Supply Chain Department to ensure availability of materials and long-lead items. Role 2: Data Management Establish and manage a robust system for data handling and analysis. Collaborate with various departments to design effective data management structures. Ensure data quality is maintained across all systems and processes. Role 3: Government Committees Focal Point Prepare quarterly presentations for the Technical and Joint Operating Committees. Track, follow up, and ensure timely closure of action items generated from these committees. General Responsibilities Support the CEO and the executive management team in executing tasks related to planning, data management, and governance. Develop and refine internal systems, utilizing in-house developers to create software solutions for planning and data management. Serve as secretary for executive meetings and the shareholders’ board, providing key administrative and strategic support.

Skills Required

Qualifications and Experience 1. A minimum of 12 years of experience in the Exploration & Production (E&P) sector. 2. Deep understanding of the planning cycle in an upstream oil and gas environment. 3. Strong analytical skills, with excellent IT literacy. 4. Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. 5. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce (or a related field).
